Executive

Definition:

One of any number of high-level positions in an organization, with the power to make (or “execute”) decisions on behalf of all stakeholders. The President, Director, CEO, and CFO are all examples of titles for executives.

Examples:

The president of the United States of America holds one of the highest executive positions in the world.

The executive branch of a government is responsible for making decisions about where and how to spend money.
