Definition:
A philosophical concept that determines the definition of “right” and “wrong”, especially when applied to interactions between people.

Examples:

The Ethics Committee decided that the company’s practice of dumping wastewater from its processing plants into the local rivers wasn’t good for the environment or the consumers.

In some companies, business practices are highly influenced by the owner’s personal code of ethics and values.
